Cameron was born and raised in Sydney, Australia but was drawn to Vancouver, Canada in 2017 by the great mountain biking and snowboarding opportunities.
All his life, Cameron has prided himself as being “hands-on.” Someone who like to figure out how things are engineered. In fact, when he was young, he would purposely break things to learn how to put them back together, which naturally
led him towards a career in construction. His first job while still in school, was in a hardware store where he learned to work with trades and how to communicate and build relationships between subcontractors, clients, stakeholders and consultants – all the
skills necessary to become a good Project Manager.
Next Cameron headed to Western Sydney University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Construction Management degree. During his final year of study, he worked for a Developer/Builder of luxury, low-rise multi-residential unit blocks.
It was a great opportunity to apply his education, experience as well as his passion. Another of his great accomplishments was the opportunity to retrofit of a multi-million dollar super yacht, which was to say the least, challenging.
FairTradeWorks approach to putting the client first and being upfront and honest about the construction process is a fresh approach. He believes that there is always a more efficient and importantly cost-effective way of building something.
