Cameron was born and raised in Vancouver and completed his Bachelor of Technology majoring in Architectural Science from BCIT.
He’s been consulting independently as a technologist specializing in permit acquisition and residential design since 2007 and has worked on many different project typologies including: multi-family developments, concrete high-rises, local breweries, commercial retail units and heritage revitalization projects in addition to his work at the single-family scale. His work is completed using the latest 3D technologies and he’s taken extra courses at BCIT to perfect this craft. His “of the site, not on it” design approach, in conjunction with careful consideration of the home-owner’s personal lifestyle, creates dwellings which serve well to enhance the occupant’s everyday use. He believes firmly that environmental principles relating to natural light and ventilation, as well as deliberate building orientation based on solar exposure, are going to drive design motifs in the residential sector as we transition to the sustainable era.
